Lodging your own tax return is easier than you think! Join Chartered Accountant, performer and general heartthrob TACO for this workshop that will show you how to fill out each section of your tax return through the ATO portal - plus lots of nuggets along the way for managing your own business and tax obligations year-round. Ideal for performing artists and beyond!

What To Bring:

Note-taking materials and a device logged in to the ATO portal if you want to follow along and start your tax return. If possible, bring a summary of your business income and expenses (anything not salaried) between July 2024 - June 2025. Low dance heels optional.

About Your Instructor:

TACO is an actor, dancer, comedian and double bassist from Naarm. He has produced and performed three solo double bass cabaret productions for Comedy and Fringe Festivals, and also co-devised productions of Business Boyz, a physical comedy parody of corporate men and Foreign Woman, a cabaret comedy about the life of his grandmother. In 2024 TACO toured regional Victoria with cabaret queen Tash York as a double bassist and vocalist. He has also trained extensively as a dancer, delighting audiences with his powerful burlesque and drag routines. In his spare time, TACO works as a Chartered Accountant and enjoys helping performing artists understand their tax obligations in his revered webseries "Tax Time with TACO".
